Bande Properties has announced and cautioned the community of Mogale City about the Albertina Sisulu Road maintenance plan from 29 April – 31 May 2024. The road closure will be from the Eastern side. The proposed work hours are 6:00 -18:00 then peak hours are 6:45 – 8:45 and 15:00 – 17:00.
It is advanced that the slow lane at corner Albertina Sisulu Road and Coronation Street will not be accessible and will therefore affect traffic. However, there will be a detour or route alternatives to use during the time of maintenance.
The safety measures of the project include:
- Flag personnel who will be stationed on all approaching sides between 10m – 20m before the work activities.
- Detour signages.
- High reflective delineators will be used along the construction works.
- Temporary traffic signs.
- Site Traffic Safety Officer will continuously monitor work activities.
