The M Derby as affectionately known by the players was one tense, trilling and appealing match between old rivals, Monument Primary and Laerskool Millenuim on Thursday, 18 April.
Both teams showed strong workmanship, strength, and bravery however Monument Primary came out triumphant by beating Laerskool Millenuim 35 – 7.
It is not yet looking good for the reigning champions of the GLLRU Sub-Super League B, Laerskool Millennium. They lost 0 – 38 against Bryanston Parallel Medium School the previous week.
The coaches are positive that things will turn around for them and they also acknowledge that there is still more work to be done if they want to defend the title.
