Visible service delivery towards national elections.

Kagiso is abuzz with Mogale City municipal workers providing much-needed services in the community. Potholes are being fixed, water -meters are attended to, and open spaces as well as parks are being cleaned. It is not rare to see municipal workers and vehicles in and around the township these days. It is argued that this visibility of service delivery is inspired by the coming and most anticipated national elections in May.

There is a joke doing the rounds on social media about load shedding. People are wondering why there is so much electricity and others say it is a campaign to lure the voters towards casting their vote to the governing party come election day.

At a media briefing about the implementation of energy action plan, Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa said that no load-shedding experienced has nothing to do with elections as it is speculated by the public.
